Pedro C. Cavadas
Valencia, SPAIN
Dr Cavadas (Valencia 1965) is a reconstructive surgeon in Valencia, Spain. He works in private practice (Clínica Cavadas), with special interest and experience in reconstructive microsurgery, replantation surgery, massive extremity trauma reconstruction, orthoplastic surgery, tertiary reconstruction of head and neck oncology, and creative microvascular reconstructions. He is author of over 150 indexed papers, including description of the MSAP flap, the first transhumeral bilateral transplantation, the first transfemoral bilateral transplantation, many book chapters, and countless lectures in international meetings. He is actively involved in humanitarian surgery in East Africa through his foundation.

Edward I. Chang
Texas, USA
Dr. Edward I. Chang is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Chang graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, and then matriculated to NYU School of Medicine where he graduated AOA and with Honors in Cell Biology. He was accepted to the combined plastic surgery program at the University of California San Francisco where he was honored as Intern of the Year. He spent two years at Stanford University examining the impact of stem cells in diabetes and aging. Dr. Chang then spent an additional year at MD Anderson Cancer Center for a microsurgical fellowship and was recruited to stay on as faculty. Dr. Chang has published widely on basic science as well as clinical outcomes in over 170 peer-reviewed journals, multiple book chapters, and is a co-editor on a textbook on microvascular reconstruction. He specializes in microvascular free flap reconstruction with a focus on complex microsurgical reconstruction for breast, head and neck, and extremity defects following cancer resection, and also supermicrosurgery for the treatment of lymphedema.

Eric I. Chang

Eric I. Chang, MD, FACS is a double-board certified plastics and reconstructive microsurgeon specializing in autologous free flap breast reconstruction, lower extremity limb salvage, and lymphedema. After completing his plastic surgical and microsurgical training at UCLA Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center respectively, he was an Associate Professor and Program Director at Fox Chase Cancer Center where he built a Lymphedema Center of Excellence. He is currently in practice in New Jersey and Philadelphia, USA and serves as an editor and reviewer plastic surgery journals.

Horacio F. Mayer
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Dr. Horacio F. Mayer is Chief of the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires (University of Buenos Aires). There, he also holds appointments as Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and the Breast Reconstruction and Oncoplastic Fellowship Program. Dr. Mayer is Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Plastic Surgery and has authored 20+ book chapters,100+ scientific articles and edited the definitive “Breast Reconstruction: Modern and Promising Surgical Techniques” published by Springer Nature. Currently, he is Chairman of the Education Committee of ICOPLAST and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons International Steering Committee.
