TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies noted on the website. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded via email to the Congress Office. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes advised to them directly.

Should you decide to cancel your registration, the following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification:
On or before Thursday 10 February 2022, 100% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
On or before Thursday 23 March 2022, 75% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
On or before Thursday 5 May 2022, 50% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
After Thursday 5 May 2022, No refund available although registration may be transferred to another individual
Refunds will be returned by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
No refund will be made after Thursday 5 May 2022 however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event inclusive within the registration fee is not taken up, or if you subsequently cancel your participation in that function or event.
Optional social event tickets may be cancelled on or before Thursday 5 May 2022 and will be refunded in full by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After Thursday 5 May 2022 no refunds will be made, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
If accommodation has been secured through the Congress website, please refer to the individual cancellation terms and conditions for each individual hotel.
In the case of extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms and conditions may be considered by and at the discretion of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) upon application.
Changes to registrations, from in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person, will be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following application to the Congress office.
Congress Cancellation or Postponement
ASPS may cancel or postpone the Congress due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Congress.
In the event the Congress is not able to proceed as planned, and is moved to a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration and you will be refunded any difference in registration rates. If you choose not to attend the virtual Congress, ASPS will not be required to refund any part of the Congress registration fee.
In the event of a full cancellation of the Congress by the ASPS, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the Congress registration fee received.
The maximum liability of ASPS under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Congress registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.
For the health and safety of all participants, it is a requirement of attendance and entry at the Congress that all participants are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, in the form of a COVID-19 digital certificate. Attendees who are unable to have a COVID-19 vaccine can request a COVID-19 vaccination exemption for medical reasons. Evidence of a medical exemption must be from a medical practitioner.
All participants at the Congress will be required to comply with the COVID Safety Guidelines and protocols in place with the venues and the Congress which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Government health advice at that time. By registering for this event, ASPS reserves the right to provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any other relevant Government requirements.
Details of the protocols and requirements will be available on the website and all registrants will be bound by these requirements.
Delegate Cancellation - Medical
The health and safety of Congress attendees is our highest priority. ASPS is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. The ASPS requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the Congress.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Congress, you must cancel your in-person attendance in writing by email to email@example.com. A virtual registration will then be offered, with any difference in price refunded. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of ASPS, however you may be asked to provide additional details.
Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Congress Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
All Congress registration fees and additional ticket rates are quoted in Australian Dollars. GST at 10% is included.
By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at PSC 2022 their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of PSC 2022 which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organisers of PSC 2022. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Congress Office in advance by email.
Additionally, by registering for this event ASPS and WALDRONSMITH Management reserves the right to collect and provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any relevant Government requirements.
